  • I think the vibe for this entire episode boils down to this exchange: Claire: I think we make a good team. Christina: Yes, Claire dictates and I follow. Claire: I didn't wanna murder you in the end, I think that says a lot. <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1833">30:33</a>

  • Do Nee Yorkers have farmer’s markets at THANKSGIVING? I understand that they’re filming this in July but Claire said (<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="840">14:00</a>) she doesn’t feel guilty telling readers to go to the farmer’s market for 898 when everything else is available at the supermarket. Middle America’s farmers and grocers will laugh at me (any time of the year) if I ask for a squash called “898”.

  • What do you folks do with all the food you cook when you do all these experiments? I don't want to be "that person". Its just that, having gone without food many times when my children were young, seeing perfectly good food go to waste always makes me uncomfortable.

  • I agree with everyone in the comments saying Claire is a bit 'Hermione Granger' in this and it seems like shes taking over the ep but i also think that Christina probably isn't as used to being a host like Claire has and thats why it feels like Claire is doing doing all the talking. Plus Claire is probably used to being the host whenever she's on camera and that side of her maybe takes over.

  • I actually feel Christina HARD. It looks like Claire is walking all over her, but I think she’s done so many Gourmet Makes by herself that she’s developed her take-charge on-cam persona (plus her own strong perfectionist personality) while Christina might be a little more reserved. They make a “good” partnership bc Christina’s personality type means she doesn’t really argue or oppose, she suggests and continues. I feel like Delany made a good partner for Christina in the try everything video, cos he purposefully gave her time and space to give opinions. MORE CHRISTINA CONtent ♥️♥️♥️

  • I read the comments before getting into this video, and while I do see what people mean about Claire running the show a bit I do think there's more to it than that. First off, I love Christina and we need more of her on the channel than what we're getting. That said, she was either nervous to be so "on" or something like it (maybe specifically working with Claire on such a big video? That's a pretty big deal). Just by the editing and the way they're talking, it looks like they cut out a whole lot of the decision making process and cut straight to Claire saying "so we decided on doing _________" in order to make more room for the giggling and the goofiness. I enjoy the silly, but taking away the decision making on a show that's all about it does turn Claire into a bit of a steamroller. Overall I see what people mean, but I didn't find it nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be.

  • I used to think that Claire was a Ravenclaw or maybe a Hufflepuff. But in the past few weeks or binging through quarantine, I have come to understand that she is a major Slytherin. What's worse is I fear the success of Gourmet Makes might be getting to her head, the girl needs to calm down
