Talking about the creative thinking and how there really are not any original ideas, Rick and morty started as a show that was heavily influenced by back to the future
Season 3, ep 9, the ABC’s of Beth came off as a little tryhard with the nihilistic existentialism, but this episode actually kinda felt gloomy and made me sad. Hate to be that guy, but Rick and Morty is my favorite show because it feels so different than others, I think mainly because they make anything possible. So unlike Family Guy, which is funny but based on actual laws of science, there’s always a new idea. Or I guess unoriginal, because of those brain remixes MatPat mentioned.
