    • @Lady Lady A wise person would know the answer, but I am not a mechanic. Read your vehicle's owner's manual if possible.

  • Well to fix your problem Scotty...if you can't beat em join em....stop being an independent mechanic and start working for a licensed car dealership and become a certified mechanic Soo you can keep fixing vehicles for a living since the laws just recently changed where you live at...but sorry to hear about your bad luck... you don't have to listen to my Suggestion buts it's just an Idea on how to keep legally working on vehicle's since the laws changed... but I'm not sure how old you are... but maybe it's a good time to officially retire being a mechanic if you're already at the retirement if you did retire I hope you have a good retirement if you don't want like my idea..

  • Im no socialist but this is where unfettered capitalism leads to...super greed. Like monsanto wants to grow and control our food supply, banksters our money supply and more greedy goons controlling our water supply etc etc. They do this through corrupt politicians/lawmakers with paid 'experts' and a media more eager to bring us entertainment than news that really matters to us and our children's future.

  • I’m taking the computer engine out of 1996 Blazer V-6 and put my beautiful 350 in its place. So far gas is relatively cheap in Utah , I’m not concerned about gas mileage. The car itself only has 65,000 original miles. I think others are doing similar projects.

  • GMC is absolute and complete crap what a lousy company still can't believe the government bail them out The best thing that could of happen is have them go bankrupt Now they are slowly moving to china They can't even stand up to the lousy union that are in a big part to blame for that mess Only mental midgets will buy overpriced crap like that

  • Don't buy products that can't be repaired by independent services. That includes Apple.

    BlankBrainBlankBrain9 hours ago
  • Some stuff like the lane departure safety systems their can be a huge liability law suit against the auto manufacturer if its not repaired correctly. Safelite has expensive alignment systems for when they replace your windshield to recalibrate the camera on the windshield. They have ceritifcations from the auto manufacturers to perform the repair. I can understand the argument from both sides but in all reality the cars are getting so complex with so many independent systems a small mechanic could never be certified in all systems.

  • If society functioned properly they wouldn't have to resort through violence to overthrow a monopoly, simply don't buy the product, I could live without an apple product. These ABS, automatic parallel parking features, etc. are dumbing down the mass in my opinion. I come from SF, CA and I take pride in parallel parking.. if you can't park it then move aside for someone who can! Lol, sounds cruel but sometimes those type of opportunities are ment to be rewards.

  • 5:43 Its common knowledge that teslas already do this... They already have very important battery management systems and also heaters for charging the battery, and cooling system to cool it if needed. You can even tell the car that you are on the way to the super charger and it will preheat the battery before you get there Model 3 can charge and gain over 100 miles range in just 15 minutes

  • What's wrong with driving a 20 year old car? I have an '01 Camry w/310,000+ miles on it and drive it 80+ miles a day, everyday. I purchased it new. Only major work that's been done outside of normal maintenance is replacing alternator, battery, steering rack and radiator. Everything else in the drivetrain is original. No leaks, HVAC works well. Every so often (2 or 3 times a month), I think the starter solenoid doesn't engage on the first turn of the key. I wait 5 seconds, turn the key again and it starts right up. I figure I'll be replacing a starter soon.
