Meanwhile... "Murder House Flip" Is Finally A Real Show

Late Show executive producer Tom Purcell once pitched a show idea in which house flippers would renovate homes where notorious murders had taken place. Finally, HGTV has stepped up to make Tom's show idea a reality. #Colbert #HGTV #Meanwhile

    • @jeaniebird ~ Yes, I've also left an only comment, and it didn't get so much as a "me too" type of reply. Once other comments began to show up, (also complaining of 0 comments) it still never had any interaction. I'm guessing whatever we post during that shadow time just goes into permanent limbo, but it looks to us like our comments posted. Wish they'd get it sorted, or at least address the issue.

      Spammy HellSpammy Hell4 days ago
    • @Spammy Hell Yes, I've come across that several times. I make sure to leave a comment and MY comment doesn't go away. But it also doesn't seem to get any views. Once, my comment was the only comment for two whole days, before comments started showing up. I found it extremely odd that it never received a single like, especially since other commenters were commenting about the same issue. Pretty sure, it only shows up for me. I was wondering if it was doing that to everyone.🤔 The glitch before this one was USproject unsubscribing me from every Comedy Central channel.

      jeaniebirdjeaniebird4 days ago
    • @jeaniebird ~ This has been happening all week on this channel (all videos, as far as I can tell), there will be 0 comments (not "comments have been disabled), and sometime in the afternoon of the following day it will start accepting them. Sooo frustrating. Thought perhaps someone new uploading at LSSC, but if it's also happening elsewhere, it's on USproject.

    • " . . . what researchers found helps better understand the species' evolution and could contribute to research in medicine and neuroscience, said study author Trevor Wardill. The researchers wanted to determine whether the cuttlefish employ stereopsis, a process to perceive depth by using visual information captured by each eye." Wardill also stated that if the cuttlefish was bothered by the glasses, it could easily remove them with its tentacles.

      Spluck ItSpluck It9 days ago
    • You could read the research paper once it's out and find out. This is a comedy show so they probably intentionally glossed over the utility of the test for maximum lulz.

  • They even help to build a patio to... enhance the exterior design. Even though sometimes it may be more appropriate to reform the basement's floor. Because it may be troublesome to schedule the patio thing. It often needs to have some work done at dawn, and it may be troublesome not to disturb the neighbor's sleep.

    Timothy BellTimothy Bell10 days ago
    • @Timothy Bell the racial disparity of black people being kept as slaves , not being allowed to vote or have property, (property being essential to provide collateral necessary for any financial undertaking) and thereby just falling into debt for simply living. So their starting point was different. Racial disparity, today, as in being paid lesser for the same job, having a higher chance of having cops called on you for 'domestic disturbances' , higher chances of getting shot or having your children taken away from you for little to no crime at all. But there are plenty of lower income white people too and of course they'd say "look at me, wheres my white privilege " but the thing is we're not talking about individuals. They as a race have had a different starting point and more obstacles placed in their path simply because of their skin colour which white people have not had. I actually had the same attitude as you(that slavery was a thing of the past and therefore should still not be used as a talking point today) but I saw a video of him discussing reparations and I got more clarity on the situation. As for your diversity hires, they make up a small fraction in any system. And it's not likely anyone would employ an unqualified person of color just to spite white people. They're hired if and only if they fulfill whatever criteria is there to be fulfilled. So basically you're just complaining about losing 'white privilege '. I mean no offense but I'd suggest you watch a few of Noah's behind the scenes and decide for yourself if it holds water or not. I know I cant change anyone who's determined to think the world is out to get them.

      R cR c9 days ago
    • @R c yea the "racial disparity" of diversity hires and race based college scores that severely lessen the chances of better merit based applicants holding positions as well as students and workers who feel the don't deserve their spot and quickly fall awesome.

      Timothy BellTimothy Bell9 days ago
    • @R c no shit, that's why I get my news from multiple sources and draw the middle ground as factual.

      Timothy BellTimothy Bell9 days ago
    • @Timothy Bell interesting...where do you get your news from? Coz fox news strongly leans to the right and if liberal propaganda isn't factual (and you're right about that, not disputing it) neither is conservative propaganda.... or do you just see the inconsistencies of the side you dont like? Ps: no one gets their news from Colbert or Noah. It's just jokes. And Noah speaks about the racial inequalities of the USA and the reasons why it baffles him speaking as an outsider looking in. He's surprisingly intellectual in his behind the scenes. Have a great day....
